Day 1: Yogyakarta
ARRIVAL JOGJAKARTA Upon arrival in Jogjakarta (YIA) airport (morning flight), meet and greet with our team and afterwards you will be transferred to Jogjakarta and have a tour to visit Prambanan Temple, the magnificent 9th century Prambanan Temple is a Hindu temple located in Indonesia. The temple is estimated to being built in the 9th Century, and is the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia. There were 240 temples in the complex, however today, most are in ruins. The temples feature cone-like roof tops, carvings on the outside, and religious statues inside Remark : Prambanan - Every Monday visitors are unable to visit Pelataran / Temple Yard of Prambanan Temple for preservation and conservation reason. The visitors can only visit until Area 2 courtyard. From this area visitor still can have nice background of photos and can touch 3 smaller temples. Prambanan temple is closed during Nyepi (Silence) day.
Day 2: Yogyakarta
BOROBUDUR AND CITY TOUR (BL) After breakfast at your hotel, start the tour with Jogjakarta city by visiting The Keraton (or Sultan’s Royal Palace) and Sonobudoyo Museum. Lunch will be provided en route. The trip will continue to visit the world famous heritage Borobudur, a Buddhist temple with its 504 Buddha statues built in the 8th century. Two smaller temples Mendut and Pawon will be also visited en-route. Remark: Keraton Yogyakarta - Closed on Monday and upon Indonesia Independence Day Sonobudoyo museum - Closed on Public holiday & Monday Mendut & Pawon – Closed on Monday Borobudur - Only visiting Plataran temple yard at Borobudur temple. Surcharge is applied to access the Stupa (subject to Borobudur park regulation). Due to the preservation activities at Borobudur temple, access to the Stupa is closed on Monday.
Day 3: Malang
JOGJAKARTA – BY TRAIN – MOJOKERTO – MALANG (BL) After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to train station to take the train to Mojokerto in the morning. Upon arrival, transfer to Trowulan village as the site of 15th AD’s last Hindu Kingdom in Indonesia as well as the greatest empire Indonesia ever had, Majapahit kingdom. After that, drive to your hotel Malang for overnight. Lunch will be served in local restaurant. Remark: Trowulan museum - Closed on Monday
Day 4: Jember
MALANG – BROMO – JEMBER (BL) Breakfast at hotel and then Bromo Excursion (without Sunrise), drive to the village of Pananjakan and continue your journey from the rim of the old crater down into the stunning caldera, crossing the sulfur rich sand-sea to the smoking crater of Bromo to watch the beautiful scenery. After the excursion, drive to Jember for overnight. Lunch will be served in local restaurant. Remark: Bromo - Local classic jeep 4x4 will be provided upon Mount Bromo visit. Mount Bromo is closed to visitor during Nyepi (Silence) day & Kasada Festival
Day 5: Ijen
JEMBER – KALIBARU - IJEN (BL,*D) At the appropriate time, you will transfer to Kalibaru to visit a nearby village to see coffee and cocoa plantations. Afterwards transfer to Ijen for overnight. Lunch will be served in local restaurant. Remark: *Dinner provided for staying in Ijen Resort & Villas only
Day 6:
IJEN – BALI (B) There will be an early wakeup call and after breakfast start driving to Licin village and then proceed to Mount Ijen passing through plantations and rainforest. Stop by at the ranger’s post before hiking up to the slope of the crater. It will take about two hours to go around the rim of the crater. You can enjoy the breath-taking view and also the beauty of the sulfuric lake which reflect the magnificent color over the surrounding walls After that, transfer by boat crossing the straits and upon arrival, direct transfer to South Bali area. Remark: Ijen - Closed on Friday at the 1st week of each month
